Shared Houses, Flats and Halls

Let housemates or reception staff know when the move is happening. Keep communal corridors and fire exits clear, and do not leave boxes where they block other residents. If a lift must be reserved, arrange it before booking the van.

For a private rental, confirm the checkout time and when the new keys become available. If there is a gap between the two, a storage run may need arranging rather than leaving the van waiting with the complete load.

Two Movers as Standard

Every booking comes with two movers, which is useful for stairs, heavier boxes and furniture. Customers do not need to recruit friends to provide the second person. Selected furniture can be dismantled and reassembled if agreed beforehand.

The van has no tail lift, so unusually heavy or specialist items must be checked first. A normal room move is one thing; a piano, safe or commercial machine is not part of a standard student booking.
